6/20/2008 Radomlessly Hottity!Whilst im posting stuff;
So I've been listening to a bunch of Black Kids recently. (In love with the 'The Twelves' remix of "Im not gonna teach your boyfriend how to dance"....search for it. Awesome!!). They are O.K. Their current song doing the rounds is "Hurricane Jane" & the version below (imho) is the best one out there. Have a go!

Cool song, but not really to my tastes.
First heard Sam Sparro live from Miami on Tongy's Essential mix. Thought he did a great job on Black & Gold. Now that his Albums out (Its worth checking out), the vids all the rage.
Check the official one as well. Pretty with an interesting concept (I love the morphing step-dance towards the end).

If you're wondering what the song is, its called "Praan" & is available on Amazon & is composed by the same guy (Garry Sychman) who composed the Awesome score for BioShock {which you can download in all its mp3 glory here (direct link to the .zip file)}.
I dont know what others take from it, but for me its a guy going to 42 different places/countries and irrespective of the colour of their skins, religion or background they all react to him (atleast on video!) uniformly - with Cheer! |
